What to buy on my Big Day Downtown?
What is my “Big Day Downtown” you ask? Well, my “Big Day Downtown” is a promotion being put on by the Downtown Halifax Business Commission to help promote downtown Halifax to the public.
This is a little blurb from their site:
“HOW WOULD YOU SPEND $100 IN DOWNTOWN HALIFAX?
We’ve asked popular bloggers, media personalities and journalists all over Halifax just that. DHBC has given away 30 $100 shopping sprees to those who accepted the challenge and in return they are documenting their experience. They can spend their $100 anyway they want – or anywhere they want in Downtown Halifax”

idk if they have Subways up there, but you could buy twenty, 5, 5 dollar, 5 dollar footlongs.
Orrrrr rent a kayak or something? Paddle to a island and have a picnic lunch? LOL i am dreaming this up right now. I have no idea if your downtown has this.
Last random idea: Rachel Ray has that show $40 a Day.. you could do like 20$ a day ... five days a week.

I know, I know. I noticed the typo the day after it launched and you can't switch out a video after it's on a page and I don't want to lose the views and tags and favorites. I've added a caption to the video saying how much of an idiot I am.

I want to buy a new camera, ha ha. I'm not a HUGE fan of MEC, but I'm definitely going to stop by for sure.

Just had a chance to watch you video now, had to laugh when the camera died. ;)
My vote is to buy something from MEC, a walk around downtown and then a healthy meal somewhere.
